Stagehand allows anyone to follow an artist and be notified of upcoming performances. Notifications will be given for performances booked in Stagehand and performances that artists post to their profile for a non-Stagehand venue (artists can learn how to post non-Stagehand gigs here).
To follow an artist:
- Go to https://Stagehand.app
- Select Artists from the menu
- Search for the artist you want to follow and open their profile
- Select the Follow button and enter the email address you would like notifications sent to
You can follow multiple artists and upcoming events for the artists you are following will be aggregated and sent to you in a weekly email.
From artists this is a great way to:
- Automatically promote your events to your fans
- Build a mailing list that can be used for multiple purposes including grant applications. If you would like your mailing list please email support@stagehand.app
