Venues invariable have many different artists performing on any given day. Often the audience would like to learn more about "Todays" events and the artist that is playing. It can be time consuming and expensive having to reprint signage or have individual QR codes for each artist/event. Stagehand makes this simple by providing a feature that allows for the generation of a reusable QR code that will redirect anyone scanning the QR code to the event that is happening "Today". To get your universal QR code use the following instructions:
- Sign on to Stagehand
- Select EDIT PROFILE from the dropdown menu
- Select VIEW PROFILE from the menu on the left
- Locate the URL at the top of your browser window and copy it. Is should look something like the following: https://www.stagehand.app/venues/123
- Go to your favourite QR code generator, I have used https://www.qr-code-generator.com/ but there are many available.
- Paste the URL into your QR code generator. Add /today on to the end of your URL. In other words it should look something like this https://www.stagehand.app/venues/123/today
- Generate your QR Code. Anyone scanning this QR code will be taken to the event that is happening today at your venue.
- NOTE: if there are multiple events happening on that day the person scanning the QR code will be taken to a list of events and they will need to choose the appropriate event.
- NOTE: If there are no events happening "Today" at your venue then the person scanning the QR code will be taken to your venue profile in Stagehand.
