If you would like to set your venue up to receive tips from the public do the following:
- Sign on to Stagehand at https://stagehand.app
- Select Edit Profile from the dropdown menu
- Select Payments & Billing from the menu on the left
- Scroll to the bottom and under the heading Accept Tips select the blue button that says Connect with Stripe. This will walk you through the process of setting up a bank account where tips will be deposited. Please note that for fraud mitigation reasons Stripe holds payments for up to 7 days in Canada (shorter in the USA). After that time all tips will automatically move into the bank account that you configured.
- Send a note to support@stagehand.app and request that tipping be enabled for your venue.
Please note that if an event has been scheduled with an artist who also has tipping enabled, tips will be directed to the artist. If the artist does not have tipping enabled then tips will be directed to the venue.
