If you do not want the general public to see your profile, you can mark it private and then only venues or presenters will be able to see your profile.
From the dropdown profile menu in the top-right of the screen, select EDIT PROFILE and then REQUIRED INFO. Scroll to the bottom where you will find a checkbox that allows you to make the profile private or public.
